Utilizing wood biomass ash in pavers for sustainable urban infrastructure

This pilot demonstrates the use of wood biomass fly ash in the production of the first blended cement of its kind, as well as associated production of 500 m² of paver blocks. The demonstration was carried out in collaboration with the biomass power plant operator UNI VIRIDAS d.o.o., cement producer NEXE d.d., concrete paver producer Beton Lučko d.o.o., and University of Zagreb Faculty of Civil Engineering, which coordinated all activities to ensure smooth operation.
