Wood biomass ash-based alkali-activated technology in Croatia

This is the first industrial-scale application of alkali-activated technology in Croatia, using wood biomass ash from the Žakanje power plant as a replacement for slag. The demonstration was carried out in collaboration with the Žakanje power plant, the precast concrete producer Beton Lučko d.o.o., and the University of Zagreb Faculty of Civil Engineering.
